The images that appear on this web page capture a rare, inside look for the citizens of New Jersey and across the nation, the hard work and dedication of the NJ Forest Fire Service and the volunteer fire departments, and the conditions they faced inside of this out-of-control Wildland Urban Interface wildfire. Certainly, if not for the bravery of these fine men & women, more homes would have been lost.
And possibly, loss of life.
Our prayers go out to the families who lost their homes and possessions. |
