Contracted fixed-wing aircraft are utilized from April 1 through about May 15 each spring when wildfire danger is at its highest. They are also available at any time during the year if needed. These planes ID as "Bravo" units and can deliver 300-600 gallons of water per drop. Section B10's nearest air base is located at Allaire Airport in Wall Twp.
Downstown Aero has held this contract for the past 30 years.
